As long as mankind has wielded weapons, women have waited and welcomed their returned warriors, only to discover that the war has followed their husbands home. They are known as military caregivers, and there are more than 5.5 million of them in our nation. This film tells the stories of 11 amazing women and how they’ve learned to adapt to life with their husbands’ physical and/or mental injuries. Their heroically candid stories bring to life the ways in which families are impacted and forever changed by the unique personal struggles, victories, and defeats experienced by our country's veterans. And ultimately, this is a story of the triumph of love.
