A film by Andrew Wonder
Yazmine, (Annapurna Sriram), a young homeless woman living in the tunnels below New York City, survives on her own terms in the days leading up to a blizzard. With brilliant acting and exquisite videography, the film takes us with Yazmine to abandoned tunnels and underground homeless camps that litter this lonely world 100 feet below the streets, and finally to her home in an abandoned power station. But with her collection of sweaters and skirts, she can move above with socialites, hippies, or new moms in the park. Is she a victim or is she making choices about how and where she wants to live, and more important, who she wants to be?
